Recommendations and Applications:
ZnCO3 is a white fine amorphous powder , odourless , tasteless.
Soluble in dilute acid and sodium hydroxide , slightly soluble in ammonia , insoluble in water and alcohol.
React with 30% hydrogen peroxide, releasing carbon dioxide , produce peroxides.
ZnCO3 Carbonate is very important material in rubber industry , imparts very good physical properties,
well abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance of the vulcanizates.
It acts as a accelerator to speed up curing rate ,
make the products more transparent and without whitening phenomenon.
It is used to produced sulfur vulcanized semi transparent products.
ZnCO3 is able to significantly increase hardness of the products ,
but with a worse reinforcing effect than ZnO.
So ZnCO3 and ZnO are usually used together to produce high performance products.
ZnCO3 is used as foaming accelerator in EVA blowning material , imparts advantages like fast blowning,
low heavy metal content , uniform performance of the product , good mechanical properties.
