MBT , Pre-dispersed Accelerator , Light Yellow Granule , Used In Tires .
Recommendations and Applications:
MBT is used as an acid accelerator and a medium fast primary accelerator ,
a muti-function accelerator with a long flat vulcanizing period ,
impacts good physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates.
It is a anti-scorching agent of vulcanization system absence of sulfur ,
used ad curing delay agent in CR rubber.
Alkaline accelerator like aldehyde amine and guanidine ,
thiuram and dithiocarbamate salts accelerator would activate MBT.
Its accelerative temperature is low and easily be dispersed with lower pollution.
Mainly used in the manufacture of tires , tubes , rubber soles , rubber belts and hoses etc ,
to vulcanize IR , NR , SBR , NBR , HR and EPDM , but on use in food industry.
Used as primary accelerator in NR and SBR , add 1.0~2.0 PHR MBT along with 2.0~3.0 PHR sulfur.
To vulcanize IIR, add 0.5~1.0 PHR MBT along with 0.5~1.5 PHR TMTD and 1.0~2.0 PHR sulfur.
Advantages:
MBT-80 is pre-dispersed in rubber binder, with no dust pollution ,
is environment friendly and good for worker’s health.
Masterbatch MBT-80 granules don’t stick to each other at room temperature ,
which make is easier to disperse in rubber compound , with no weight loss.
It has good compatibility with rubber ,significantly improve the mixing efficiency ,
reduce energy consumption.
